I love the active, outdoorsy lifestyle Sydney offers and the endless list of stunning beaches. I completed my YTT in Bali last year which was one of the best experiences of my life. I have been teaching yoga at motion for 6 months and adore teaching there. The atmosphere, space and sense of community at motion is incredible. Everyone is always so supportive and encouraging which creates such a lovely, warm environment to teach in.

What got you into Yoga? I went to my first yoga class in Sydney because I was experiencing some muscle pain and a friend recommended to go. Little did I know that I would be leaving with so much more than just a stretch. My pain was gone, my mood was lifted and I felt a sense of calmness. I was instantly hooked. I started to go to classes more regularly and every single time I felt like a better version of myself when I was leaving.

What do you love the most about Yoga? I love yoga because of how it makes you feel. I am so passionate about yoga - it can be fun, accessible and challenging all at once. The benefits are endless, it helps people stay flexible, strong, disciplined, builds confidence and helps reduce stress/anxiety. I love having the opportunity to help people achieve this!

What is your teaching style? My favourite type of yoga is definitely vinyasa, it connects movement to breath where you can find both strength and softness on the mat. I like to incorporate music that enhances the flow and create a sequence that is challenging and rewarding. I love seeing students walk out differently to how they came in.

What do you love to do in your spare time? In my spare time I love to catch up with friends and go for coastal walks and swims. I love trying out new cafes and yoga studios in my area. I also love travelling so I’m always planning the next trip!
